Living in a military town, we all certainly know what it’s like to have to say good-bye to family and friends who are leaving for deployment. This family wanted some pictures of them all together before Daddy had to leave. What better gift for him than some pictures of his beautiful smiling family?

After taking monthly maternity photos of her beautiful Mommy for the last several moths, I was super excited to finally meet the adorable Miss K. who made her arrival just a little bit early. She is a gorgeous little doll who is just the right combination of her Mommy and her Daddy. We had a great time with the pictures! Welcome to the world, Miss K!

I was so excited when my friend, Lindsey, approached me about her idea to do monthly pictures of her growing baby belly. I thought it was a fun and really unique idea, so we scheduled it. I went over to Lindsey’s apartment every four weeks (usually on a Friday) and took a few pictures of her in profile. I came prepared each time with a seasonal prop to use in some of the photos and Lindsey made the little number signs and did the smiling! It was a ton of fun and now she has a beautiful record of how she looked throughout her pregnancy.

Here are some of the monthly photos, followed by her maternity session at about 35 weeks. (Since Baby K came a little early, we did Lindsey’s 40 week shot at their newborn session. So cute!)

Yes, those eyes could melt my heart! She’s so adorable and oh so sweet! This was a fun new location too. I always enjoy trying something new!

Here’s one of my favorite families! They made sure to schedule their photo session when they knew they could be in town…and fortunately, we had some fantastic weather. I love all the bright colors and the gorgeous smiles!

Here is another friend of mine from back in the day who recently got married. She wanted some fun photos of her and her hubby along with her two girls. We had fun roaming around the park taking these cute shots! Congrats to you all!

Last year when I photographed this gorgeous family, we got rained on. It was just a  little bit of rain, we powered through it, and the pictures came out great! THIS time, we had an absolutely beautiful day and lots of cooperation from these two little cuties. Love the way these turned out!  :)
